I've been lucky enough to ride in some of the best parts of Canada and south of the border too...but I have to say, the experience I had in the Madawaska Valley, with Rob leading the way, left me with a whole new appreciation of what that area has to offer!

Starting on smooth pavement and quiet roads, we soon dipped into lush woodland and great quality gravel roads. With some pretty steep climbs and rewarding descents, we were rewarded with some incredible views along the way. Depending on your fitness level and climbing ability, if the effort doesn't leave you breathless, the stunning views will!
Over the two days, Rob was ready, willing and able to craft and adapt our routes on how we were feeling, and what the weather was doing. Speaking of Rob's ability to "craft" our eyes lit up at the mention of a "drop-in" to the Square Timber Brewery. After a much-needed rest stop and a sample of the beers, we were on our way again. With his local knowledge of the area evident again, he was able to cut short the planned route by a few km's (and more importantly avoiding another climb!). We all had the biggest smiles as we arrived back at the start point.
With so much to offer, it's highly likely we could return multiple times, with every visit bringing a new experience. Thanks to Rob for showing us what is now one of my favorite places to ride, can't wait to go back again!
